The title is from Daniel 3:17-18 ''..our G-d whom we serve is able to deliver us .... and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not , let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods .....'' I like the attitude.
Welcome to Friday. This has been an awful week, and it ain't over yet: I'm off to work in just a bit, and "get" to do it again Saturday night. I feel like I'd been beaten with clubs, and tonight will be worse yet.
So, this posting will be light. Sorry. The texts referenced are good, and important, and I just can't get to them. Sorry, very.
The Old Testament reading for the day is Deuteronomy 33 and 34
The New Testament reading is verses 24-56 of Luke 1.
