Illegal Immigration Again, Still Murdering Citizens and Hidden by the Liberals

As I understand the law, a person having knowledge, or good reason to believe, that a crime has been or is about to be committed, is required both by law and by a sense of civic duty, to report that fact to the appropriate authorities. And that those authorities are, by virtue of their own special duties and bound by oath, are required, absolutely required, to undertake such further investigation and actions as provided by law.
But we know that does not always happen, don't we? Whether it is the feds, under the utterly worthless and vile Michael Chertoff, or local authorities (I dare not use the term 'public servants') have with impunity determined to ignore both the law and their own oaths of office when it is convenient for them to do so.
The results, the breakdown in the rule of law were predictable and predicted. Those whose nature it is to obey the law, will, for a time, continue to do so as long as others around them also continue to do so. Indeed, that is one of the characteristics of a tradition of self-government such as we once had in this nation. But, as the saying is, 'who will watch the watchers?''. And what happens when the rule of law breaks down?
Lawlessness becomes the norm, at high levels and at low. When those in high places connive to ignore the law and their duty, and by that we include 'failure (or refusal) to uphold and enforce the law'', then we get terrible and worsening results.
Comes now yet another example, here. An illegal alien was shielded from the consequences demanded by several laws by officials in San Francisco, California. And the results are grim, but not atypical. Three citizens dead at the hands of an illegal aien, a person who has no legal right even to be in the United States. A fact known to public officials. Public officials who REFUSED to do their duty.
Yes, Edwin Ramos, should, if convicted, be executed by public hanging the very same day. But the same penalty really should apply to all those officials at the city, state, and federal levels who made it possible for this shameful episode.

Illegal Alien Murders Another 22 March 2008

Why not post another one? There have been so many, it's mentally wearying, but someone certainly needs to pay attention. The President of the United States obviously isn't, neither is Mike Chertoff (spit), neither is the governor of California (or several others), and obviously neither is the awful mayor of Los Angeles. Someone needs to.
The result of the corrupt refusal to defend the nation and both obey and uphold the law is another dead citizen, a family with a dead son, young men without a friend, and more anger that is all too often legitimate.
Try the headline

Man Accused in High School Football Star's Shooting Reportedly in Country Illegally

That pretty well says it, but read the story. The murderer is an illegal, who had just gotten out of jail. Nobody bothered to check his status while he was in stir. Had they had the brains and the sense of duty to do so, a young man might still be alive. But no one bothered. There is a name for this. Several, actually. Dereliction of duty is one term.

This morning's Illegal Aliens posting

Haven't done one of these for a while. Not from lack of stories, clearly.
Try this one, an illegal alien charged with the rape of a child. An El Salvadoran this time, it's not just from Mexico that the problem comes, (but let's face it, having a common border does make it easier). By the way, he'd been deported before.

Or this one. A Honduran this time, who permanently injured visitors in the area. Oh, and by the way, he's previously been convicted of other crimes, but no one could be bothered to check his status at those times, otherwise perhaps someone with a sense of duty would have kicked the bum out and the world would be a better place. But they'd have to do it against the express wishes of the utterly worthless and contemptible Mike Chertoff.

Yes, W. Just raping the children, assaulting the police, crippling the citizens and doing the drunken driving that Americans won't do. Thanks. Thanks for nothing.

Daily Illegal Aliens Outrage December 15

The story comes from the Citizen Tribune in Morristown, Tennessee. And it involves American citizens suffering damage as a result of the actions of illegal aliens in our country and the - in my humble opinion - criminal nonfeasance in office and manifest dereliction of duty on the part of a variety of public officials. A string reaching right into the Oval Office.

George W. Bush, j'accuse!
Oh, and the story involves a familiar name, Koch Foods. A firm already in trouble for hiring illegal aliens at a variety of plants, and which should have been in trouble for similar actions at other ones as well. I'd like to see the CEO in prison and his personal assets looking at forfeiture. That might get some attention.

Anyway, here's the headline Newport couple faces taxes on income never earned

The story gets really ugly. It gets into identity theft. It gets into illegals using someone else's identity to work in another state. It gets into the point that the IRS wants to seize and sell the victim's home in order to satisfy tax obligations run up by the illegal alien, Elizabeth Velasco Bautista. You'll love this part: ''
The interloper in Mr. Costner’s life was Douglas Valdez, according to Ellis. Ellis says Valdez avoided the identity-theft charge because a judge ruled that it was not a crime to use someone’s identity to obtain employment.''
Like that?
Oh, and the victim's husband got in a problem due to these illegals when in ''
April 2006 when learned that he was in danger of losing his driver’s license because of unpaid citations for speeding and driving without insurance.

The traffic stop came at 3 o’clock in the morning while Mr. Costner was asleep. Also, the driver reportedly did not speak English.''
and that creep turned out to be Douglas Valdez.

So, our country is invaded by criminals, with the criminal connivance of Koch Foods and the criminal dereliction of duty by public officials at all levels, and citizens go through great troubles at the hands of that same government.
This is not what some of us thought that this country was all about.

BUILD THE DANG WALL!!

DECLARE WAR ON MEXICO, AND PROSECUTE IT!!

DEPORT ALL THE ILLEGALS, DO IT NOW, AND BILL THE NATIONS OF ORIGIN FOR THE COST, WITH INTEREST, AND DON'T BE POLITE ABOUT COLLECTING IT

Backlink to the Anchoress part 2

Let me say first that I respect and admire the owner of the site. That she is a devout Roman Catholic, and I am not; that she has her take on a number of issues that is not in perfect agreement with mine, does not alter that in the least. Reasonable people may differ on range of issues and not descend into bitter rancor. I thank her for her devotion and tone of respect.
Just for the record, and perhaps some self-aggrandizement, I am showing below the backlinks to some comments that I made on a recent thread on the issues surrounding illegal aliens in America. She by no means agrees with me, but has nevertheless graciously posted my rather lengthy comments. Your are invited to examine the entire colloquy.
It begins here
My comments are here , here, and here.
Again, I have profound admiration and respect for her, even in principled disagreement. May her tribe increase.

Who says it's impossible?

I have been listening for far too long to craven liars whining that we can't enforce the law, we can't keep out the illegals, we can't remove the illegals, we can't gain control of our borders, or our destiny, or our nation.

BULL!
We've been here before, and we've dealt with it before. And what man has done, man can aspire to do again.
Go here and read the account.

It's one thing to try and fail. It is another thing to be afraid to try because you might fail. It is inexcusable to refuse to try because you might succeed. That is how we must characterize the criminal nonfeasance of the President and the behavior of much of the Senate.

Where's the fence?

Go over and check out this site: www.wheresthefence.com if you want to raise your blood pressure up to a safe level.
I am furious beyond measure at the actions in Washington by some of our electeds, unfortunately beginning with the President, who have obstinately determined to push an amnesty through for those who have criminally invaded our country. I can not determine with any degree of certainty whether their actions and non-actions simply constitute malfeasance in office, or if the matter rises to the level of treason. I'm seriously leaning towards the latter.
This is not only a bad bad bill - we would expect nothing less from something involving the drunken murderer Ted Kennedy - but it is really much worse than that; it is the sort of bad that over time becomes worse and worse. One might reasonably conclude that such is the intent.

News From the Border: Bush to talk to border agents' families

The story linked here (and I hope that I've done this properly) is one I mentioned in the post below.
News From the Border: Bush to talk to border agents' families

Illegal Immigration, Part 1006 and the Border Travesty

It just doesn't seem to improve, does it? I'm referring not only to the continuing violation of the territorial integrity of the United States, but also of the wretched record of the Bush administration in the matter. Not content with a consistent record of non-performance in the matter, not content with slandering those who have an expectation that the law and the nation's border will be honored, the Administration, acting through the ill-named Justice Department has now railroaded two good Border Agents into a Federal prisons, and as a further injustice, have arranged that there locations will be nearly as far as is possible from their families.
One of the many good takes on the matter can be found over at the News From the Border blog

Let me be frank. I voted for Mr. Bush in two general elections. In many respects, he has been a great president. In other respects, he has been a catastrophe for the nation. The defense of and honor of the nation's borders and those who protect them is one of those catastrophic issues.

Another ''rape Americans Won't Do''

And yet one more example of the fruits of the criminal non-feasance in office of our high elected officials, and another attack in the de facto state of war that exists between the United States of America and Mexico.
Seems that Leopoldo Sanchez, an illegal alien (I know that's not the term approved by the cultural elites, the MainStream Media, most of the politicians in Washington on either side of the aisle, but heck with them), having once been deported for illegal activities, crossed our porous border again and raped at least one woman in the Houston, Texas area. See the story at the Houston Chronicle under the heading of Rape Suspect Had Been Deported Earlier This Year .
In the meantime, we finally have an agreement to build a fence along a short section of the border, though have no plan in place to finance it.
I have a suggestion, or rather several.

  1. A person who has not learned once won't learn twice. He does not intend to change his behavior. Hang him. Do it today. He is an invader, and is not - in my humble opinion - entitled to the legal protections afforded to US citizens or lawful visitors. He is an invader bent on evil designs. Hang him. Publicly.
  2. Those who have excused such patterns of behavior have acted the part of enablers. There should be consequences. Suggestions are welcome. I like the idea of public floggings, though the stocks and the pillory have their fans.
  3. This is a natural consequence of various public policy decisions on the part of the rulers of Mexico. My view of the matter is that there is now and has for some time been a State of War between the US and Mexico. Therefore:
  • repudiate NAFTA, immediately
  • declare war
  • close the border, totally
  • declare such organizations as LULAC, MALDEF, MEChA, La Raza and their ilk to be subversive and treasonous organizations dedicated to the violent overthrow of the United States. Act accordingly.
FINALLY
If I EVER again hear the lie about ''jobs Americans won't do'', I won't be responsible for my actions. That is a lie, an insult, and it's uncalled for.

Illegal aliens, part 1002

I see that one of the ''Beltway Snipers'', Lee Boyd Malvo, has admitted to another murder, this one in 2002 of Jerry Taylor on a Tucson golf course. I'm sure that provides a small amount of closure for the family of the murder victim.

But for others, it should be an item in an indictment. If you go to a 2002 article written by Michelle Malkin in her article ''Who let Lee Malvo loose?'' you will be reminded that Malvo is an illegal alien who was arrested back in 2001 in Belllingham, Washington, but - in violation of the law - was ordered released by the INS district in Seattle. As a result, Malvo was set free. And as a result of that, Jerry Taylor is dead. And so are a number of other people. Michelle has done a real number on them at her blog/column. Check out Another Beltway sniper victim for her take on it. I think that she does one of the better jobs on this issue, though there is some excellent work being done. But excellent commentary and excellent analysis do not, alas, seem to be translating into equally good policy and practice.

Persons taking up governmental duties are indeed doing exactly that: stepping up to perform duties that are greater than those expected of the average citizen. As such, they deserve respect and honor, so long as they ''well and faithfully carry out the duties of the office ...''. Clearly, quite an number of persons, and it reaches to the very top levels of the nation, are now feeling free to ignore their oath, their duty, their honor, and the expectations of the nation that these duties will be well and faithfully performed.

Ideas have consequences. INS, and the elected and appointed leaders, have ideas. And Jerry Taylor is dead. You can't ignore the law and honor and expect good results.

Enforce the law. The law specifies who may enter this country and under what circumstances. I am tired of hearing nonsense and lies to pretend that violations of these laws are unimportant. They're not unimportant. And Jerry Taylor is not the only victim.

The law specified deportation of illegals. The law prohibits knowingly hiring illegals. Enforce the law. Vigorously. Immediately. I want ALL the illegals out of OUR country, and now.
