A Personal Update

Just a brief note in the unlikely event that anyone is interested.

Dear Wife is out of the hospital again. She has spent most of the last week at home, more-or-less flat on her back. I did take her in for some additional tests on Tuesday and the results were not too bad. She is in enormous pain as a result of the swelling and related trauma which in turn are a result of the cardiac catheterization she underwent the week before. The docs chose to go in via the femoral artery rather than the carotid, which is fine, but it appears that they nicked a lymph node in the process, and this combined with everything else AND the underlying autoimmune isses, have led to hematoma and related problems.
She is feeling a little better tonight, we went out for lunch this afternoon for the first in a VERY long time. It was fun, but she was on that leg for a lot more than she has been for more than a week, and her body wasn't used to it. So we shall see.
As any observer can see, I have been terribly remiss in these postings lately, for which my apologies. I take the Word of God very seriously, and think we neglect its regular study as a mistake. But what with the ministry to my own wife, my less-than-wonderful work situation, and my own issues, there just have not been enough hours in the day. Apologies.
