And one more reason the Congress is idiots

Dear Wife is a low-level manager with a regional chain of family restaurants, so this comes from her.
Remember that change in the Federal Minimum Wage? The one that the lieberals tout as being ''for the peepul''? The one that is a clear violation of the 10th Amendment to the Constitution? (but so is about 80% of the federal government). That one?
Know who it hurts? Try waitresses. Oooops! Make that ''servers''. Must be PC after all.
A couple of things you need to know.

• Servers aren't paid the standard minimum wage. Typical is about $2.13/hour.
• Servers live on tips. Remember that the next time you eat at a restaurant.
• The government, notably the IRS types are avaricious leeches. You knew that. What you did not know, is that the IRS requires these lowly paid folks to claim their tips in order to extract taxes from them.
  
• The US standard for tips is around 15%. More in some instances, should rarely if ever be less. The tax goons, while they are somewhere on the animal scale below dung beetles, do realize that some of you stiff the servers. (this is where I can unload on the members of Monte Vista Baptist Church in Maryville, Tennessee, who have earned the title of ''Baptists from Hell'' for the long-standing habit of abusing the help, trying a variety of reprehensible techniques to get a free meal, and leaving for tips a quarter and a tract). So, what the tax Fascists are doing is assuming that you are tipping adequately to make the Federal Minimum Wage, and taxing them accordingly.
• The result is that these people are now, courtesy of an illegal and unconstitutional bit of idiocy, now paying higher taxes on a static income. Thanks a lot, you worthless bums in the Congress. Thanks for nothing.
