Today -- 07 July 2011
we have been on a bit of a hiatus. This is being created while sitting at a kitchen table in far northeastern Ohio (Lake Erie is close, and so is the Pennsylvania line), a very long way from our normal haunts in Lower Alabama. We intend to decamp within the next 30 hours or so, and to head back to the Deep South again. We got to see my dad once more, and many other family members we have missed so terribly. We thank them all for many expressions of kindness and hospitality, thank you.
