Today's Readings and Stuff. -- Thursday, 10 October 2013

good afternoon.  Those who may have been checking in on this site for a while know that this is the third state we have lived in since the humble beginnings back in 2006.  Been some bumps along the way, to be sure, but the Lord has brought us through somehow.  Right now, we are sleeping on a bunk bed at the home of our neice and her husband as we STILL wait for finish work and utilities at our "new" digs.  Water company is SUPPOSED to come tomorrow, some time between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.  Electric will be another 3-5 days.  Gas?  unknown.  Phone and internet cable?  ditto.

And of course the search for our next church.  Visited one Sunday.  Perhaps it is the one.  But we had semi-promised to accompany Dear Wife's cousin to her somewhat Pentecostal gathering this coming Sunday - she needs the support as her son has been sitting in jail the last few months.    Perhaps we are needed here.
