Readings and Stuff for Two Days -- Saturday and Sunday, 22 and 23 June 2019

Been a bit discombobulated around here.  Just a lot of "stuff' going on.  Most of it OK, not good or bad, just "stuff".
Until this morning.  Came out to head off to church services.  Only to discover that, sometime during the night, something had hit the windshield of our parked 20-year-old vehicle, and we now have a very nice crack extending across around 1/3 of the window.  Doesn't interfere with driving, not at all, and probably not really a safety issue.  Except that our pharmacy is in Pennsyltucky, and a large percentage of our groceries and consumable supplies are purchased there.  The PO-lice in Pennsyltucky, and the rather onerous regs enacted by the Commonwealth, automatically class that as rendering the vehicle unfit for presence on their (poorly built and worse maintained) highways, so I dare not drive there.  Dare not, lest the vehicle be towed and impounded and Yours Truly hauled in front of one of their kangaroo courts to answer for the hideous crime.
Someone at church told me that replacement of that glass should be covered by car insurance at no cost to us.  Nice.  Or would be, if true in our case.  Which it isn't.  We have some coverage, but there's a deductible of around $250, which we simply do not have and can't get. 
I can probably get by for local trips to local grocery, church, etc. going the back roads around here, which is what I did this morning.  Beyond that, going to be quite "interesting".

So it's going to be an interesting week.  I'm sure that the Lord knew this was coming, and there's purpose to it of some sort.  But it's really not what I was hoping for.

I'm lumping together the Old Testament readings for Saturday and Sunday.  We're in the early part of 1st Chronicles.  This was put together largely to give some understanding and structure to the people who were returning from the Babylonian captivity, giving them some understanding and background of who goes where? and how did all of this happen? and, importantly, where do I fit in?

1st Chronicles 3

1Now these were the sons of David, which were born unto him in Hebron; the firstborn Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jezreelitess; the second Daniel, of Abigail the Carmelitess:

22For there fell down many slain, because the war was of God. And they dwelt in their steads until the captivity.

61And unto the sons of Kohath, which were left of the family of that tribe, were cities given out of the half tribe, namely, out of the half tribe of Manasseh, by lot, ten cities.

62And to the sons of Gershom throughout their families out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.

63Unto the sons of Merari were given by lot, throughout their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.

64And the children of Israel gave to the Levites these cities with their suburbs.

65And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities, which are called by their names.

66And the residue of the families of the sons of Kohath had cities of their coasts out of the tribe of Ephraim.

67And they gave unto them, of the cities of refuge, Shechem in mount Ephraim with her suburbs; they gave also Gezer with her suburbs,

68And Jokmeam with her suburbs, and Beth–horon with her suburbs,

69And Aijalon with her suburbs, and Gath–rimmon with her suburbs:

70And out of the half tribe of Manasseh; Aner with her suburbs, and Bileam with her suburbs, for the family of the remnant of the sons of Kohath.

71Unto the sons of Gershom were given out of the family of the half tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan with her suburbs, and Ashtaroth with her suburbs:

72And out of the tribe of Issachar; Kedesh with her suburbs, Daberath with her suburbs,

73And Ramoth with her suburbs, and Anem with her suburbs:

74And out of the tribe of Asher; Mashal with her suburbs, and Abdon with her suburbs,

75And Hukok with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbs:
