Seasonably COLD weather is heading our way, fast. We've been seeing nightly lows in the low-to-mid 40's recently, by this time next week we may well have dipped below the 32 degree freezing point and frost is a near certainty. Yes, I miss living in the South.
Dear Wife will be having a recuperation day today. She had the Little One yesterday and Tuesday. They both love it. But chasing a 3-1/2-year old child is tough for someone recuperating from major and not healed foot and ankle surgery. So I'm doing the caregiver thing today.
Got a chance to be at the public library Tuesday. They have some sort of program for the pre-school kids, want to get them in the library habit. So we took the Little One. And, while the kids were busily hearing a story read to them, and doing some sort of basic "crafts", I got to peruse the stacks. Not really much there, this is a branch location and the surrounding area is not one that particularly honors literacy, but it's free, and I had to be there anyway.
The Old Testament reading for this morning is chapters 34. 35. and 36 from Isaiah.
The evening's New Testament reading is chapter 2 from the Epistle to the Phillipians.
