just a quickie and posted late
Last night was the Halloween trick-or-treat thing. We sat in driveway and handed out goodies. Neighbor on one side is away on his honeymoon, so we handed out for them. Niece and husband next door were taking the Little One out on the effort, so we handed out for them too. And for us. So we set up a table with three bowls of goodies and instructed the costumed urchins to take one from each. Worked out ok, had a LOT of kids come by and actually about ran out of stuff. Good for another year.
Dear Wife next door with that Little One -- everyone trying to recover.
And we're now in November. Time to change calendars, and all that. Change from Daylight Savings Time to Standard Time this coming Saturday night/Sunday morning. So night will come early now. Cousin told me she's suffering something called "Seasonal Affective Disorder". Is that another way of saying "I hate Winter"? If so, I've got it too.
Today, chapters 31 and 32 of Jeremiah.
and chapter 2 of the letter to Titus
